emBODIED FIREPLACE

This fireplace is a minimalist sculpture in the living room, giving it a timeless sense of harmony. Inspired by Vitruvius’ “perfect” proportions geometry, of the human body’s anatomy, the design explores its performance in the structure of a sculpture – fireplace. The curved surfaces on its front and sides symbolize the female body’s curves, which are quietly framed by vertical marble elements. The gradual retreat of everything towards the interior of the fireplace, offers a sense of depth and at the same time serves its proper function.

The use of top-quality Dionysos marble, which has an exceptional white color with a distinctive hue, leads back to antiquity, where it was widely used for the construction of exceptional architectural monuments and symbolizes elegance and timelessness in design.
