About Us

MX-ARCHITECTURE is an architecture, design and construction office based in Vrilissia, Athens. We undertake the architectural design and interior decoration of single-family houses-apartments-apartment buildings, the renovation of commercial spaces and the construction-design of hotel units.

We are a small, multidisciplinary team of architects, civil and mechanical engineers, surveyors and project managers. Our combined approach, enriched with international experience, allows us to approach each project as a whole: from the first spark of the idea and building permit, to implementation, on-site supervision and final delivery. We approach construction with exceptional care and high precision, collaborating with experienced foremen and specialized craftsmen who share our passion for detail. In total, we create bioclimatic buildings, fully energetically upgraded.

Our projects large scale extends from new buildings creation and existing structures reuse, to their interior design. We believe in an architecture that exudes authenticity and attention to detail. Myrto Xopapa

FOUNDER OF MX-ARCHITECTURE & MANAGING DIRECTOR

Myrto Xopapa was born in Greece in 1989 and grew up in Athens, Greece. After completing her MArch at the University of Patras, Department of Architecture (Greece), she continued to work as an Architect Engineer in well-known Athen’s offices. There she developed her interesting for housing, which led her to continue her studies with the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Housing at ETH Zurich (Switzerland) in 2016. During them she completed her Published Academic Research Dissertation, deepening and expanding her knowledge about Housing Cooperatives in Switzerland and possible concept implementations in Greece.

Her work was presented in numerous conferences at ETH Wohnforum and published at ETH Zurich Research Collection. In 2017 she graduated with First-Class Hons from Prof. Dietmar Eberle. She has worked together with famous architecture firms in Zurich, where she contributed to demanding luxury housing projects. Therefore, after many years of personal experience as a Project Architect with Construction Specialism in Switzerland, she returned to her home town Athens, Greece and founded MX-Architecture Office in 2020.
