MYTHOS LIBRARY

The specially designed library is an ode to eternity. The design takes advantage of the living room’s double height, which serves to create effortless bookshelves. In addition, a specialized final shelf is constructed in the library, higher than the rest and functions as an exhibition space for collectible old books. The final library’s gable refers to the residence’s British style and interacts perfectly with the fireplace’s construction located in the same living room area.

The use of the selected dark cypress color also belongs to the British style color palette that was attributed to the project as a whole. This becomes lighter and fresher with the study of the furniture’s lighting, which highlights it through vertical beams of light, as an additional reference to the myth and continuous timelessness.
