COFFEE SHOP IN KERAMEIKOS

Concept: Symmetry and flow through the coffee bean

The project concerns the reconstruction of a ground floor space in Kerameikos, into a café-restaurant, with the possibility of selling products. It is a journey into the world of coffee. The visitor’s experiential experience begins with the direct sale of coffee at the entrance, where the first contact is created (direct sale – awareness).

Then the organically designed space embraces and promotes the coffee – chocolate – nuts products, thus deepening the visitor’s relationship with them. In the specially designed bar, the Italian experience of the espresso shot is offered and in addition, the hotel’s customers are served, through the double reception (self-service – consideration).

As one progresses inward, as with the layers of coffee bean husks, one also discovers the experience of the café-restaurant seating area, where one seals one’s relationship with the product. Finally, the restaurant expands into the open courtyard, where the custom central structure inspired by the coffee bean can also host themed events (interactive experience – loyalty).
